48 3.0T lithium-ion counterbalanced forklifts exported to the Port of Amsterdam, Netherlands

Client: A leading European port logistics group

Client Requirements: The Dutch government has completely banned diesel forklifts from operating within port areas starting in 2025. The client needed to replace its aging diesel fleet at once, requiring 24/7 continuous operation, zero exhaust emissions, and low noise levels.

  Solution:

  1. Equipped with an 80V/460Ah lithium iron phosphate battery, the dual-charger fast-charging system fully charges in 1.2 hours, providing a battery life of 10 hours.

  2. The entire unit is CE, ISO 3691-1, and EN 12895 EMC certified, with a noise level of ≤61 dB.

  3. Customized "Port Edition" software features a 20 km/h speed limit, automatic start/stop, and no-load speed limit reminder.

  4. The mast is raised to 6.5 meters and equipped with a three-level free lift, meeting the requirements for 5+1 container stacking.

  • Production, CE certification, lithium battery UN38.3 certification, and seaborne dangerous goods package certification were completed within 60 days.

  • Utilizing a 40FR frame container and CKD package combination, four units can be loaded per container, saving 11% on ocean freight costs.

  • Dutch engineers completed on-site commissioning of 48 units in three days, achieving a 100% first-time acceptance rate.

Customer feedback: "After eight months of operation, each unit has averaged 18 hours of daily operation, with electricity costs only 28% of diesel costs, and the port's carbon emissions have decreased by 42%."
